Reverse Osmosis Systems utilize membrane separation technology to produce quality water for industrial processes and drinking water. Contaminant rejections depend on the type of contaminant and the type of reverse osmosis membrane being used. Membrane rejections of 70 to 99.99% can be achieved but never quite 100%. It has been demonstrated that bacteria and virus reductions of 99.7 to 99.9% are possible, but a perfect 100% bacteria rejection could not be achieved.
A reverse osmosis system consists of pretreatment, the reverse osmosis unit, and in some cases post treatment, depending on the end use of the RO water. Activated carbon post treatment filtration is used for drinking water applications. Pretreatment is essential to the performance of the Reverse Osmosis System. Reverse osmosis membranes can not tolerate iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, hardness or turbidity. These contaminants must be removed up stream of the RO unit. A softener or chemical treatment is always recommended as pretreatment to the RO system.

Water 2000, Inc present a small and medium capacity Industrial RO plant model AQUA-RO 5000 series. We are Industrial reverse osmosis plants manufacturer of small & medium capacity since 2001. This system is designed, developed and programmed for the long and dependable services. Our AQUA-RO series Industrial reverse osmosis water purifiers are ideal for small and medium industrial organizations, which require an output ranging from 100 gallons per day to 5000 gallon per day. Our Industrial RO plant gives a unique high quality output of TDS range between 10 – 50 ppm, assuming an input water have TDS levels under 600 ppm (Standard) (Customized Module for higher TDS levels are also designed)

So as to produce the output water which meets the desired standards of water quality as per FDA and NSF, our Industrial Reverse Osmosis plant integrate various stages or consoles, which are integrated and synchronized to provide the desired results. Pre Conditioning Module Of Aqua RO for Commercial & Industrial Reverse Osmosis Plants

This module is a very critical and important to all commercial & industrial reverse osmosis water plant's safe operation. Improperly treated water can spell doom to highly expensive RO module and various other components of your system and would surely compromise with the quality of the output water.

Our engineers design this module after performing the complete analysis of the feed water scenario of your site. This analysis determines the elements, hardness and contaminants present in the water and helps us determine the extent of pre conditioning required and configure the all important module of our industrial reverse osmosis water purifiers.

Typically, a reverse osmosis system requires pretreatment- water softener, carbon filter and possibly some post treatment- polishing ion exchange resin bed. The configuration of the RO and the pre and post treatment will vary and depends on the end use of your RO-treated water. All necessary pre and post filtration equipment for your application is designed by Water 2000, Inc's engineers and assembled at our factory. It will be incorporated into your RO system package to ensure complete functionality and efficiency of your RO system.

The standard pre conditioning module of our system comprises of:
High efficiency multi media sediment filters, so as to remove sediments and suspended particulates from water.A water softener module is incorporated with the sediment filter to remove the excess presence of minerals in feed water.Special Pre Conditioning Module for our Aqua RO Industrial Reverse Osmosis plants

Some special case scenarios, additional pre conditioning may be required , due to excessive presence of bacteria or other micro organisms or presence of iron in the feed water, which requires additional ultra violet treatment and specialize iron block filter.

Reverse Osmosis : (Process Explanation)

The process of Aqua RO reverse osmosis removes dissolved salts as well as organics. The process can be explained as the raw water I flown through the membrane by applying pressure, in the process a small percentage of the feed water permeates the membrane, the balance portion of water moves alongside the membrane without being filtered and moves along side the membrane without being filtered and moves out of the system. The stream which permeates through the membrane is the permeate, the second stream of water is called the concentrate because it carries the concentrated salts and other contaminants which are not able to permeate through or rejected through the membrane . Since the two streams of liquid flow side by side to each other this process is also called cross flow filtration process.

This process of water filtration ensures that the output water have 99.9% of pyrogens, viruses and bacteria rejection.

Disinfection Module Of Industrial RO plants

This is also a very important component of any commercial & industrial reverse osmosis plant, used in water processing.  As per the standard procedure the output water which exits from our commercial RO water filter is stored in closed tanks, which results in stagnation of water and susceptible to biological contamination.

To over come this problem our system incorporates a combination of UV or Ozone or individual ultra violet treatment, as the situation demands.  This treatment completely eliminates the possibility of contamination during storage.

Among membrane processes, which are driven by pressure, ultra filtration (UF) is a fraction technique that can simultaneously concentrate macro molecules or colloidal substances. It retains only macro molecules or particles larger than about 10-20 A (approx: 0.001 – 0.02 um).

Since ultra filtration deals with the separation of fairly large molecules, such as natural polymers and colloidally dispersed compounds etc. The osmotic pressure involved in UF processes is fairly low. This UF needs fairly low pressures for operation, which would lower equipment and operating (pumping) costs.
PERFECT UF can be operated at ambient temperature. Thus thermal or oxidative degradation problems common to evaporation processes can be avoided.

As compared to conventional dewatering processes, PERFECT UF does not involve change in phase or solvent during the dewatering process. This results in considerable saving in energy.

There are minimal changes in the micro-environment during UF, that is no change I pH or ionic strength.

PERFECT UF Water purifiers do not require electricity to function, as they use the hydrostatic force of water column, developed by the overhead tank of water installed in the house(When the situation is grave, use the gravity) to deliver safe drinking water to the people .
They have an additional alumina column, using activated alumina which is approved as per the stringent NSF-61 standards, which reduces fluorides to bring it to within acceptable levels. As it is a dead end device there is no wastage of water.

PERFECT UF Water purifiers has a pre filter unit followed by membrane filtration. The yarn wound pre filter captures all macro particles present in feed water. The coconut shell activated carbon, in the pre filter, removes all odour causing particles to make the water odour-free.

Water is then passed through 0.01 micron ultra filtration membranes, which completely remove all bacteria, and viruses(the size of the smallest virus is 0.02 microns) and any other suspended particle that may be present in water. The unique cylindrical construction of these membranes ensures that they work at almost same efficiency after cleaning for a very long period. The feed water , after passing through the activated carbon pre filter, is fed to an activated alumina chamber which reduces fluorides(and arsenic if any),to bring it within permissible levels(less than 1 ppm for fluorides
